Hi All,
We have a cluster of Publisher and Subscriber of Unity connection with cluster of CUCMs
Visual voice mail is configured with two hunt pilot number and configured web services ports in Unity connection correctly.
The other day our publisher unity connection went down and i realized that half of our phones were not able to access visual voice mail. "Error, Contact administrator" and the other half pointing to subscriber were fine.
So the obvious question is why the phones did not fail over to subscriber and if there is a delay timer or settings in Unity connection you can set to forcefully fail it over.
Visual voice mail service point to URL "unitycxncluser" and there is no space in the name of the service.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

If "unitycxncluser" defined as SRV in your DNS? If you read the visual voicemail configuration guide it warns about DNS timing issues, etc, so the best way would be to route the request via load balancer if you have one available.
