Solved: VM Tools on Expressway 12.7

Hi,

I have a question about the integration of vmware tools on expressway (12.7) virtual machine. My expressway is working on virtualization envirnment (vSphere 6.7). My manager asked me to install the vmware tools on vm expressway, but I don't know if the expressway support it.

So can I install the vmware tools on the expressway's vm ? Have you any advice for this ?

You can tell your manager that the VM tools is prebuilt into the operating system in Expressway, so there is no need to install anything, nor can it actually be done. Cisco is more and more going down this path of having pre-deployed VM tools to get away from the need to maintain this separately.
