Voice trigger instead of the call forward

Hi ,

I have the below scenario in CUCM

Phone  A #1234 has voice mail setup.

Phone B  #3241 does not have any voice mail.

I have setup call forwarding  from Phone A to Phone B and both phones are online.

However, the voice mail of Phone A is triggered instead of the call forward when a call is place d to Phone A.

How do i  resolve the issue? Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

What type of forwarding do you have on Phone A for voicemail as well as to Phone B?

I think I misread their original problem, and they might not be getting Phone B to ring at all. In which case, asking for the forwarding settings on both DNs is appropriate. Good question.

That is just how it works...by default. You can change this default behavior, but it changes for the whole system, and not per person/per phone.

Look into CUC > System Settings > Advanced > Conversations > Use Last (Rather than First) Redirecting Number for Routing Incoming Call
