VXML SERVER OBSERVING HIGH MEMORY UTILIZATION

We are Experiencing High memory utilization on VXML Servers running on V10.5.

When the server is restarted the VXML service consumes about 500MB of memory but this gradually increases above 1.1GB within a week.

From the tomcat log I can see few errors stating the memory leaks as below.

I guess these JARs are part of CVP package.

we performed a platform upgrade recently from CVP 9.0 to CVP 10.5 and thats wen we are facing this issue.

There was no new changes done to the VXML application after the upgrade, saying that these applications were running perfectly on 9.0 but they are leaking memory on CVP 10.5...

Any clue on this will be highly helpful..

I have this issue too.

Did you resolve it?

We had the same issue in our UCCE and we raised a TAC case.

We were advised to increase the memory and virtual cpu for the vm machines.

Hi Lee, We are also having the same issue.Did your issue is resolved?If so please let us know the steps.

There are a few articles on this;

Increase VXML server virtual memory from 256 MB to 512 MB as described in:

  http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/voice-unified-communications/unified-customer-voice-portal/116279-technote-vxml-00.html

Install CVP 9.0(1)ES11 to resolve any potential security issues which may also lead to Out of Memory condition:

  http://software.cisco.com/download/special/release.html?config=c51444496bd899c41331b5ad20b97954

The above bug is Version dependent but it does show that we have seen this issue and it is most likely in multiple versions.
