Hi,
We have recently upgraded our Unity Connection Publisher server from 8.5 to 11.0 using a DRS backup and installing all the appropriate upgrade files and all works well from the publishers stand point.
My question is when we upgrade the Unity Connection Subscriber server can we just install the the 11.0 installation files and it will sync all the voicemail etc data from publisher or do we also have to do a DRS restore on the Unity Connection Subscriber server too just like we had to do for the Publisher. Obviously for the CUCM you dont need to do this the Subscribers sync all the data automatically from the Publisher.
Thank you!

No need to restore the subscriber. As you mentioned the data will sync from the publisher. Essentially you are replacing a subscriber server and can follow the steps in the following link.
