6248 Uptime

Gary Jackson
Level 1
Level 1

I received some SNMP errors this weekend stating the the port channels coming from my Nexus 5k's to my UCS 6248 Switches went down.  This caused a few issues.  I am trying to determine if the 6248UP's rebooted.  Can you please send me the commands to check their uptime?

Gary,

You can check it over NXOS,but check also for core files.

Addionially ... your SNMP monitoring can give you that info.

Thank you.  Exactly what I needed.  It does show that my 6248 rebooted on Saturday as I expected with reason:

Kernel uptime is 2 day(s), 11 hour(s), 51 minute(s), 48 second(s)

Last reset at 145054 usecs after  Sat May  2 01:29:57 2015

Reason: Reset triggered due to HA policy of Reset
  System version: 5.0(3)N2(2.11b)
  Service: monitor hap reset

Time to call TAC.
