Hello,
I have a Cisco UCS C220 M3, and I am trying to access CIMC. I am aware that for this version, I need Adobe Flash and Java. However, the only modern browser that still supports Java is Internet Explorer, but that doesn't support flash. Could someone please help me get into CIMC? Thank you.

Nobody implied that. I have and M3 and an M4. I do not cross flash systems.

Why are you trying to extract the firmware then? If I recall correctly, last time I updated firmware I just needed to boot from the ISO.

To all,
After a ton of time spent and research, I have figured out the correct software combination to gain full access to an old CIMC (ie my server is a UCS-C460-M2):
Working OLD CIMC GUI/KVM Solution:
Windows 7 Enterprise 64Bit
Firefox 38.0 32Bit
Java JRE Version 7 Update 21
Flash Player v9.0.289
Also, if you ONLY want access to the Java KVM, the following URL is from a gentleman that wrote a stand alone Java script to access ONLY the KVM:
It works like a champ.
Also, if you have CIMC CLI access via SSH, the majority of what you can do in the CIMC GUI, can be accomplished via the CIMC CLI. With the combination of the CIMC CLI and the standalone KVM script above, it's not quite as "easy" as the CIMC GUI, but it does work.
Again, if you want the CIMC GUI, build yourself either a standalone Win7 laptop or a VM with the standalone versions I stated above.
NOTE: The first thing I did POST installing each application was to DISABLE the auto-update as you do NOT want the applications to update as it will simply disable Flash again!!!!
I hope this helps,
Ted

To all,
I forgot to add the individual filenames for the above applications:
Firefox Setup 38.0.exe
SW_DVD5_SA_Win_Ent_7_64BIT_English_Full_MLF_X15-70749.ISO
install_flash_player_9.0.289.0.exe
jre-7u21-windows-x64.exe

No need to downgrade to windows 7, Maxthon 5.1.3.2000 works with win10 and 11, and includes a flash engine. After that just need to install Java.

I'm using this in Windows 11 to get to the CIMC on my UCS C220 M3

Does that work on an OLD M2 running 1.5.9g?

I don't have a C200 M2, but if the CIMC in that machine requires flash, I don't see why it wouldn't

To all,
Let me be clear, I used to work for this company for a "couple" of years and I only entered the data to help others in the future. There is always more than one way to obtain a solution, but after days of research, I felt it best to share the solution with others so that the others can be successful quickly vs. repeating the same research time I did.
Thx,
Ted

Hi guys. I found this solution and it worked perfectly for me.
This took a while. We decided to use one of the free to download Microsoft Virtual Machines for developers to test on. We found a combination of browser and flash player that worked and provided the client with the instructions to set this up. I have provided the instructions below in case anyone else is interested.

Another option:
provided by Dell and works like a charm.
This will install a portable Firefox with Flash player supported in it. Works for VNX data storage as well as our Cisco ucs-c220-m3s flash based cimc:

When you encounter problems with TLS, use TLS min version: 1 in Firefox' about:config.
Enjoy!
