Hi,
I am having an anoying issue in UCS Manager, 6 weeks ago we did some tests and we were unpluging randomly some cables from the FEX (IO) modules.
During this time there were multiple alerts generated, we acknowledged one of them for testing purposes and since this time the alert is ''stuck'' in the UCS manager with the ''Acknowledge Fault'' button greyed out.
It is not going away and I don`t know how to remove it from there.
Anobody have any experience with this kind of problem?
Thank you

Yan,
Acknolwedging a fault does not make it go away. The fault condition must be cleared/resolved first, then by acknowledging the cleared fault, it will remove from the list.
Try to Re-ack Chassis 1 (right click on Chassis and click "Acknowledge Chassis"). This may clear the IOM connection issue you're seeing.
Regards,
Robert

Hi Robert,
It was a good idea to re-acknowledge chassis 1, I tried that but the fault is still displayed.
I understand that by acknowledging the fault it does not make it go away but I believe it is related to the problem, I had hundreads of faults since I started testing my UCS infrastructure and they always go away when the problem is corrected... except for that one

Can you see what the status of the port Eth1/2 on FI-B is?
You may want to unconfigure - and re-configure it as a server port.

I unconfigured the port than I set it back to server port and the fault is still there, the status of the link is up and enabled.
