Hi All,
I have two Cisco UCSs C210 M2. let's say UCS A and UCS B.
and I have problem with my UCS A, at least there are 2 hardisks failure in the last two months.
My question is what is the root cause of the harddisk failure? because the problem only happened in UCS A, no problem in UCS B.
Thanks
Helmi

Hi Helmi,
Hard disk failure can be due to hardware malfunction. Now why are you assuming that if something happens to server A the same thing needs to happen to server B? No because both server are identical in hardware they will have the same hardware failure all the time.

Helmi,
What is the firmware running on the server with the 2 fail disks? Can you provide an screenshot of the status of the disks? I would look for Predictive Failures, Media Errors, "other Errors"...
