Bandwith: VIC1440 with IOM 2204

Hello,

I have a blade server with two vNICs configured. One via Fabric Interconnect A and the other is directed via FI B.

Now I would like to have 20G per vNIC, how do I achieve this?

This is my configuration:

- Server: B200 M5 | VIC: 1440

- Chassis: 5108 AC2 | IO-Module: 2 x 2204 with each 2 fabric ports connect to FI

- Fabric Interconnect: 6454

Currently the vCenter is showing 10G per vNIC and I would like to double this.

As the uplink from the IOM to the FI is 2x10G I thought I would get the same bandwith down to my server and therefore to the vNIC?

Or do I need to double up these uplinks first as one of the current uplinks is "ending" in the unused mezzanine slot?

Regards

 Martin

I had contact with Cisco TAC and they provided me with a useful link:

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/interfaces-modules/unified-computing-system-adapters/victuning-wp.html

The document shows the current combinations you can do with the different VIC adapters and IOMs amongst other things.

For my situation I do not get more than 10G per vNIC:
