C220 M3 embedded raid pass the drives onto the OS.

I have a c220 m3 with embedded raid, and I am plugging 2 drives into the front but they don't show up in the CIMC as storage (they are detected in the sensors page though). All I need is just to be able to have both drives be passed through to the OS which will run ZFS. How can I get that working? I am just getting into enterprise hardware for fun so I don't know much about it yet.

I ended up using intel rste, which just passes the drives onto the OS by default seemingly.
