Hi, does anyone what drive mfg and model will work with C220 M4S?
I have the below list if anyone has use this on any Cisco UCS C-Series server, particularly on C220 M4S servers.
Also, if anyone has any experience with other disk that does not cost so expensive.
Thanks.

Greetings.
Your compatible drives are listed on the spec sheet at : http://www.cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/products/collateral/servers-unified-computing/ucs-c-series-rack-servers/c220m4-sff-spec-sheet.pdf
We occasionally get tickets from customers trying to figure out why drives aren't being detected that have purchased 3 party drives that have firmware/partIDs that the server knows is not Cisco. The servers have a catalog of supported/approved parts that matches the spec sheet.
Thanks,
Kirk...

For example the following list I got from the spec sheet above:
UCS-HD12TB10K12G 1.2 TB 12G SAS 10K RPM SFF HDD SAS 1.2 TB
Cisco drive cost 2.5x or 3x the price of the same spec drive out there, e.g. some from vendors such as serversupply.com or newegg.com etc, brand new.
As long as 12G SAS 10K RPM, will this work?
Please advise.
Thanks

Will a generic 12G SAS 10K work? Maybe. If you want the correct PID to show up the p/n needs to be in the catalog.
