Hi Team
We have 3 servers in remote location and all 3 servers frequently disconnected from cimc kvm and even rdp also. But i pinged the cimc ip and server ip address and there is no pocket loss and its pinging continuously.I updated latest NIC and CIMC drivers also. Not able to confirm weather its a network issue or HW issue.
Can any one suggest the resolution.
Thanks in Advance
Mohan.

If you can ping your OS with no issues at all times, I dont see how that could possibly be a hardware issue... Are you initiating the RDP session from a machine in the same subnet? How long, after the session is started, is the KVM/RDP connection being dropped? (random time intervals, minutes, hours?)
Is this something that happens very to often so that you could possibly get a packet capture?

Hi Kenny
Yes i checked and connected rdp session from same subnet and KVM also but both getting disconnected different time periods.(randomly 2 mins or some times 1 minutes once)
Any specific tool can we have to capture the packets?
I was pinging continuously and check via command prompt.
Thanks
Mohan.

wireshark... KVM uses port 2068

I tried to capture the packet drops from wireshark but not able to trace the dropped packets.
Because its disconnecting and reconnecting less than 10 ms. How ever traced the logs from firewall, port 443 and 3389 some times dropping frequently.
