Can C220 run ok with one failed hard disc if the other discs are ok?

at what point is this a major problem, as am unable to raise an rma becuase of cotract issues till tomorrow?

That is one of those really big 'depends' questions.

It depends on what kind of raid volume it is part of.

If it's raid 1,5,6,10, etc then the VD/virtual drive will still be online, but just in degraded state.

If it was a raid 0, or jbod mode, then it (drive or VD) will go offline.
