Cannot update firmware from c240 m4 Failed to copy firmware

Hi all,

 

Im trying to update the firmware for c240 m4 server by using HUU but im getting the next error:

 

Note: I trying with the version:

 

https://software.cisco.com/download/home/286281356/type/283850974/release/3.0%25284d%2529

 

-ucs-c240m4-huu-3.0.4e.iso

-ucs-c240m4-huu-3.0.4d.iso

 

-I checked the md5sum and is the same

-I downloaded the file two times

-I try on two servers from the same model and failed

-I try by using virtual DVD on KVM and by using a usb boot with the same result

Are you trying to mount the ISO over vMedia? If so, try from the same subnet that the CIMC is on. Sometimes you can see the error you get when there is too much latency between the host and the device you are mounting the HUU from.

Im connecting directy the server to my computer using UTP cable. I tried using two differents ports with the same behaivor.

 

Also create a USB booteble with Rufus and the process begin fine, but when the GUI interface starts, then appears a window with the message CANNOT COPY THE FILE (error 906)
