Connecting UCS 6248 FI to N5K-C5548UP

hi,

How do i connect UCS 6248 Fabric Interconnect to N5K-C5548UP? do i need to use FCoE or vPC as i will have multiple SAN connected (using FC) on FI.

Please suggest best possible solution where i have minimul cabling hedache & can optimise physicl ports on N5K.

Hi Mahesh,

Are you looking to use N5K uplink as a ethernet uplink or a FCoE uplink or both?

Can i configure vPC using FCoE as uplink? If yes i will use FCoE only

Also suggest if you have any better solution

Hi Mahesh,

vPC for FCoE uplink and / or unified uplinks is not supported at this time.

vPC only for pure ethernet uplinks still works the same way.
