Will there be a Cisco customised ISO for vSphere 5?
Or have all UCS drivers and CIM providers been included in the regular VMware ISO?

We've installed VSphere5 and ESXi 5 stock on all of our B200 M2 blades with 2.0(1q) firmware and everything seems to be working very well. All the drivers seem to be there and we've tested DRS with power automation and it is all working so far. The one downside is we were not able to use the automated vSphere method of upgrading. I believe there was an issue with the custom VIB's in the Cisco ESXi iso for version 4 not converting over. So we did a from scratch upgrade on each blade which wasn't a problem since we had the overhead to just move the guests around. There might have been a more elegant solution but this method worked fine for us so far.

If you want to build your own vSphere 5.0 U1 (with patches) ISO using the latest drivers referenced in the Cisco documentation, you can look at this article:

Simon, look for the ESXi 5 customized .iso after the 19th of April(yesterday)on the VMware site. This is what was communicated to us, unless it got delayed the date listed should have the .iso on the site.

Thanks - this solved my issue
It would be useful if documents on CCO which discuss the Cisco custom versions of ESXi could be edited to include the link provided.
Example doc below

Hello James,
I have forwarded your suggestion to documentation team to update the doc with ISO download link.
You can also provide feedbck directly to the team by using the feedback section in the left section of the doc.
Cheers
Padma
