Does Enabling Fabric Failover requires server reboot.

We have single vNIC configured for few servers. If we try to enable the fabric failover on the Cisco UCS Manager, will it require the server to reboot? This is for both Global and Local service profile.

When you enable fabric failover, there is a virtual "secondary" vNIC path that is created on the fabric interconnect the vNIC does not already reside on. This would be the reason for the reboot.

This is expected behavior.
