F0637 Power Cap Fault

Running UCS 3.2.2f with B480M5s with same firmware.  I have a Power Control policy to impose "No-Cap" Power Control.  Each server where it is applied, i get the F0637 fault.  If I remove the policy, the fault clears.  I had seen  a bug in 3.1 but resolved in same.  CSCvc02297.  I had trying the work-around of power down via the OS and boot via UCSM.  This did not clear the fault.

 

Anyone seen this elsewhere?

Greetings.

Trying pulling some power related settings from the cli:

#scope chassis x

#scope server y

#show power-budget expand detail

 

#scope chassis x

#show power-budget detail

 

exit out to top level of ucsm cli

#connect iom x (where x is chassis with blade in question)

#show platform software cmcctrl power config

#show platform software cmcctrl dmclient psreadings  (if output is all zeros, then connect to other IOM in same chassis

You may want to try re-acking server if you haven't already...

I have not be able to re-ack the blade.  How likely is it to resolve the issue?

I have this issue with only M4 blades.  The re-acknowledge is the only thing that seems to clear out the error.

Seeing this after trying out VMware DPM which uses IPMI to shutdown and start up blades.  Running 3.2.2f with B200M4 & M5.
