Fabric interconnect failover and cluster access

When FI-A and FI-B is active, we are able to access the FI cluster GUI. When FI-A, failed we are not able to access the FI-cluster GUI.

It is normal or do we missing any configuration for failover.

Management services should failover automatically; however if they do not you can try logging into the CLI and running the following commands on FI-B.

connect local-mgmt
cluster force primary

When you log in to your Fabric Interconnect via a putty session can you paste the following command output:

Show cluster extended-state

is HA up and FI-A and FI-B both up?

In cluster mode, if the primary does not detect that a secondary FI is attached, then attempt to HTTP to FI-A or open UCSM will result in the following error: "Login Error: Failed login info: UCSM is not available on secondary node"

In that case, please check the ha state using the command:

connect local-management

show cluster extended-state

If HA is ready, please check the pmon processes to make sure all are running:

show pmon state
