Do you mean UCS ? IOM connecting to a fabric interconnect ? not a Nexus 5548 switch ?

If you are getting errors on both sides, you likely have an MTU mismatch.
Please investigate the MTU settings on the vNIC and the QoS policy and ensure there are not jumbo frames traversing these links unnecessarily.
