Got a box of licenses for a 6120 UCS. Have like 40 10GB port licenses. But they are a CD, that has vague documentation on it, and a card with a "Product Authorization Key" on it.
Cannot figure how under "License Management" to install these. It only offers "Download License" local and remote. Cannot type in a license key. Are these importable via CSV? I see that I can export licenses that way.

Craig you need to register those PAK numbers with cisco to get the license file you download in the hardware. You need to read the licensing steps they are basic and the same process for all this cisco hardware.

Craig,
Go to here:
http://www.cisco.com/go/license
Log in with you CCO ID and enter the PAK (Product Authorization Key) there. Follow the steps on the site.
You will then get a .lic file that you upload to the 6120 using the "Download License" option (Local is for the file on your computer, remote is if the file was on a ftp server or a share or something)

Let me add to Craig's question - is there a way to do this in bulk or do we have to go through the process for each PAK?
Here's hoping I missed something.
