Is there a command that will show you the SNMP community string that is used on a 2960X switch?

we have switches that are being monitored by Solarwinds, and I am looking to find the community string that is used .

thanks

The 'public' community string should be visible when you run 'show snmp community' command.

This documentation outlines how to set it up.

Catalyst 2960-X Switch Network Management Configuration Guide

it lists Community Name : XXXXX

Community index: XXXXX

Comunnity SecurityName: XXXXX

storage-type: nonvolatile    active access-list:  44

which would be community stirng?

It is not hard coded on 2960. I just created my own, 'public' and 'wes' as a test.

WS-C2960X-48FPD#config t
Enter configuration commands, one per line. End with CNTL/Z.
WS-C2960X-48FPD(config)#snmp-server community wes

WS-C2960X-48FPD(config)#snmp-server community public
WS-C2960X-48FPD(config)#exit

WS-C2960X-48FPD#show snmp community
