Monthly UCS podcast using Google spaces

Hello All,

At a recent PowerTool session, our guest speaker Eric Williams, mentioned that there was a monthly or so podcast on various UCS related topics.  I am interested in finding out the URL or how to attend.  Any and all information will be appreciated.  I had thought the information would be posted here, but I can't seem to locate it.

Thank you,

Jim

Hi Jim,

We are running an ongoing series of Google Hangouts, all of which are available on the Cisco DataCenter & Cloud Google+ Site here:

https://plus.google.com/u/0/114381144808300038585/posts

The three events that have been hosted to date are:

Cisco Datacenter Hangout (UCS Director and UCS Manager):

https://communities.cisco.com/docs/DOC-36661

Tips and tricks for managing Cisco UCS with PowerShell and Microsoft Systems Center:

https://communities.cisco.com/docs/DOC-36655

Managing UCS infrastructure at scale with Cisco UCS Central:

https://communities.cisco.com/docs/DOC-36656

We will be posting more details here on our UCS Communities site for future Hangout sessions. All past Hangouts can also be quickly referenced using the 'Tech Talk Series' drop down box on the main UCS Community page.

There's no UCS Podcasts at this point.  We are taking the Google + Hangout on Air approach.  We are now going to be announcing new Hangout on Air's here at the UCS Communities website here.  We had a couple of glitches that we've worked out, and are going announce them here going forward.  Feel free to check out the links to the previous three UCS Tech Talks posted here in the documents section.

What topics are of interest to you guys?  We have a couple of ideas for the next two sessions, but we are always soliciting your feedback on what YOU, the community, wants to hear about!

Eric,

I hope no disrepect was taken, just couldn't find out more after that one session you were presented.

Topics of interest:

  • PowerTool/PowerShell tips and tricks.
  • Migration to using UCS Central.
  • Best practices in design, set-up, expansion, and day-to-day.
  • In my environment, I have mixed configurations (ESX hosts with several stand-alone blades).  So maybe something along the lines of how to best utilize UCS to accomdate.  Even along the lines of how to best design your environment for this situation to make firmware upgrades as easy as possible.

Thank you again,

Jim
