Hello people i have a question regarding the Nexus 7009
here is the scenario, i have 2 Nexus 7009 each one with 1 F2E card and one M2 card.
I will be interconnecting them as follows:
On Nexus 1 F2E card to M2 Card
On Nexus 2 the same F2E card to M2 Card
On Nexus 1 F2E card to Nexus 2 FE2 card
On Nexus 1 M2 card to Nexus 2 F2E card
On Nexus 1 F2E card to Nexus 2 M2 card
Now my question is: What is the best port selection for this kind of interconnection? and does it even matter? i think on the M2 card it does not matter much since all ports share the same asic, but im not quite sure if this is the same for th F2E card, if someone could give me a hand with this i would appreciate it.
Thanks in advance.

Current software release does not support F2E to co-exist with M1, M2, F1 cards in the same vDC.
The next software release will allow this to happen.

Hi Leo!
you mean even if I will be interconnecting them physically?

With current software, the only way for F2E to be in the same chassis with the M1/M2/F1 cards is for the F2E to be in a different vDC. The only way to connect the F2E to get connected to different cards is to physically connect them either through copper or fibre.

Yes the plan is to use the M2 for routing and F2 for switching and connect them physically to each other, sorry if i dont make sense, the nexus equipment are quite new to me and i just started reading about them =))
