I'd like to rename our UCS service profiles. They are in use for production ESX hosts, so I'm worried about downtime. Can I rename them without affecting production? Is there any downtime associated with renaming them?
I just re-named one of the service profiles in my lab and it had no impact on the host OS. There is no downtime required or production impact.
