I have a UCS 240,y the vSwitch configuration I only have 1 vmnic0, I need to configure teaming / failover, but my question is, if I add a (vSwitch0 Properties-->Network Adpaters,) second vmnic1 will I have any connectivity issue?
It is very hard to tell if we do not know the configuration of the switchport that vmnic is connected to... As long the switchport has exactly the same config, you should not have issues, cause the IP address is configured in the vmkernel.... But as I mentioned above, it is almost impossible to guarantee you will not have problems with as few details as we have in this moment, so the advice is... confirm that vmnic will also have the same connectivity as the one that is currently up.
