We have a standalone system the is running:
[root@XXXXX:~] esxcli software profile get
Cisco-UCS-Custom-ESXi-70U1-16850804_4.1.2-b
Name: Cisco-UCS-Custom-ESXi-70U1-16850804_4.1.2-b
Need to install patches and in the past I have simply performed the upgrade via CLI, but with the Profiles it appears to be different. I have checked Vmware's site and there are releases specifically for the latest release. What is the best method to upgrade to the latest security patch?
Thanks,
Joe

Should be something like this:
#esxcli software profile update -d /vmfs/volumes/datastore1/VMware_ESXi_7.0.1_16850804_Custom_Cisco-4.1.2_b_Bundle.zip -p Cisco-UCS-Custom-ESXi-70U1-16850804_4.1.2-b

Is VMware_ESXi_7.0.1_16850804_Custom_Cisco-4.1.2_b_Bundle.zip available from Vmware? Currently I can not download any of the Cisco OEM installs, there is a message on the page that states that there is an issue and they are working to fix it.
Thanks,
Joe
