UCS HBA's Admin Down

• Hi Team,

  I am building 2 nodes with Windows Operating System where OS has been installed on the blades and servers are reachable over the network. But we could not be able to get the HBA up to make visible in the SAN switches to proceed with Storage configuration.

  Please assist as soon as possible as we need to deliver at the earliest.

  tried decomm & recom

  tried adapter reset along with blade

  tried hba reset

If you vHBAs are link down, then they don't think they have an adequate FC uplink with correct vsan to flogi into.

What are your upstream FC switch models?

Thanks for the response and apology for the late reply... I was able to fix them by installing the drivers in the OS(which was not done part of the build)which enabled the FC connectiom and floggied to SAN switches..
