hello We have cisco ucs server with 2 LAN cards and layer 3 switch .

- i have multipal L3 vlan on L3 Switch

- UCS server is also connected with L3 switch as an Access port

-on ucs server , we have virtual switches .

what should be the configuration of UCS and Cisco L3 Switch , so that all virtual switches can communicate with L3 switch connected with ucs server .

Can you be more specific, best to post a diagram of the topology

I understand, that you have C-2xxx-M servers, without a fabric interconnect, connecting to a Cisco switch ? correct ?

On the server, you have a hypervisor (ESXi ?) and therefore a virtual switch ?

Is the server dual homed to 2 Cisco access switches ?

Yes , You are right with the topology and   C-2xxx-M with 2 NIC (Teaming )

                              C-2xxx-M -----|------Cisoc L3 Switch |--------Core Switch (2 core Switches)

i have 2 core switches for redundancy , please let me know the best configuration shoud be b/w C-2xxx-M and L3 switch .

I assume you need only Ethernet / IP, not Fibrechannel ?

The classical design is shown in the attachment; L2 in the access, and L2/L3 in the aggregation layer.
