UCS Two KVM IPs - Equipment Derived vs Service Profile Derived

I'm working on migrating a UCS and I see that somehow the KVM of the servers have two IP addresses. One is from the service profile and the other says equipment derived. What mechanism yields the equipment derived IP address? I want to have only one IP address for KVM. Thank you. There is a pool with the 10.1.101.0/24 addresses. If I click show pool usage it shows nothing. But if I click on IP Addresses - I can see current assignments. Thank you.

If you have an IP pool block defined under the IP Pool ext-mgmt object, then the blade/rack server will automatically get that IP assigned to the CIMC during discovery.  If you remove the block from there, and only create an IP block under another pool, then just the service profile assigned IP will be utilized.  I recommend leaving a few extra IPs not defined in your block, for manual assignment in the event you are having to troubleshoot server discovery or service profile assignment issues, and need KVM access prior to the service profile assigned IP being applied.
