The following Cisco UCS Platform Emulators are available for download from Cisco:
CONFIGURATION IMPORT NOTE: Importing configuration backups (All, System, or Logical) taken from the UCS Platform Emulator (UCSPE) to physical UCS Manager domains is not recommended or supported by Cisco TAC. UCSPE backups should only be imported to UCSPE domains.

I reuploaded a newer OVA on this. Can you retry it with the newest one I uploaded?
Where can we obtain support for UCSPE? Any community page? Experiencing all sorts of weird issues.
This is the place! Please post your question with details of the specific issues you are experiencing.

The problem resolved itself, but not before I tried to start UCSPE with my new hardware configuration about 10 times. The default hardware configuration was sticking around and it would not load my new startup inventory. I rebooted and shutdown the UCSPE VM completely. Didn’t seem to make a difference. Have you come across this quirk before?
Also noticed that the blades are not reflecting all of the memory that has been added as well. Only 32GB or 16GB is showing up. Even though it accepted adding 16 and 6 x 16GB DIMMS.
Hello UCSPE Community,
I started with UCSPE V2.2.3aPE1. After install and launching UCSM and login with default user and password
it takes ab. 60 sec. and then the following error message appears:
Login Error: java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out
I´ve installed the lastest JRE 1.8.0_25-b18 (32 and 64 Bit) and use Firefox 31.2.0 ESR.
Any hint where to look further ?
problem fixed, it was related to initial setup of UCSPE, my fault. I did only configure a static IP on eth0.
After adding IP addresses for eth 1 and eth2 from the same subnet, login now works fine.
Hey Guys,
I have a customer that has identified a what we think is a problem with "Cisco UCS Platform Emulator version 3.0(1cPE1)". He would like to make changes to the startup configuration, eg. remove the C-series servers, reduced the B200M3 to 2, remove the VIC 1280's and change ram to 2 x 16GB DIMMS. Once anychange is made no matter how small and PE is saved and restarted we see no inventory at all. The 6324's appear as 6296's with no configuration options. The chassis has no inventory of configuration options.
Any idea's?
hi!
kindly help me! i get this message when am try to logging to the cisco UCS platform emulator
Login Error:
java.net.SocketTimeoutException:Read timed out
secharle Per the release notes for 3.0(1c) here the only servers supported are B200 M3, C220 M3 and C240 M4, sounds like you're breaking the emulator/trying to run it in an un-supported configuration. You're customer will have to use the 2.2(3a) version of the emulator until additional servers are supported.
Hope that helps!
ericwill Any ETA on a Emulator for 2.2(3c)? Looking to test/validate the "QPI snoop mode via Service Profile" settings for disabling Cluster-on-Die (CoD) for the new Intel E5-2660 v3 CPUs.
Is it not interesting, when I tried to change the clock manually !

We trust you have received the usual lecture from the local System
Administrator. It usually boils down to these two things:
#1) Respect the privacy of others.
#2) Think before you type.

Hello UCSPE Team,
is it possible to add the latest SP8 bundles to the Hardware Startup Bundles in UCSPE 2.2(3)a ?
thanks in advance for help and comments
Alfred
Is there a good quick start or tutorial for initial configuration using the emulator?
The guide to configuring the emulator itself is at the top of this page
As for configuring UCS Manager, the emulator is running a full version of UCSM, so any UCSM documentation is going to apply. Here are a couple of links:
