one of ucs C220 M3 harddisk giving warning

i have a UCS C220 M3 with four hardisks and i have a cucm and ccx vm inside , one of the HDD is giving a warning , can i remove it to check it's model then return it? or would that cause system outage?

is the this code on the outside facing panel "A03-D500GC3" is the HDD model?

Depends on how this hard in Raid level, contact cisco TAC, they able to asists better.

A03-D500GC3 - is 500GB HDD .

I would open the CIMC IP in web browser.

Depending on firmware level the storage info will either be in:

• Storage tab, LSI sas controller, will have physical disks subtab
• Inventory, storage sub tab, LSI SAS controller, will have physical disks subtab.

Pulling disk is probably not a good idea unless you have a replacement disk ready to go,,, and are fully confident you know the raid type.
