My gateway is requesting 128K even though the dial-peer is configured to utilize g729. I am trying to limit calls to 5 g729 calls and have allowed 80K of calls.
H323 gateways calculate bandwidth differently. Each stream is allocated bandwidth. For a 2-way video call call bandwidth is 2 X 768 = 1536 per call. Have you tried setting the call bandwidth at 3072?
Issue resolved by doing a no mgcp / mgcp on the gateway. I had rebooted the gateway but apparently mgcp must be reset when a change is made to the calling party transformations...its always something simple
