Pat,
Please confirm that you use CCA, and only CCA, to configure this UC500.
Thanks,
Marcos

So can I not run Office Manager if CCA is not used?
I don't think CCA is very widely used by people who deploy UC500 systems.

Their are many changes that Office Manager makes to phones that could disrupt your configuration if your configuration is not "CCA compliant." For example, if there is a feature that is programmed under an ephone-dn that is not currently supported in CCA, it could strip that configuration out. That's just one potential problem you could have Office Manager with a system not programmed with CCA.
As far as the particular error you are receiving, It could be difficult to diagnose with a system not configured with CCA.

Exactly. OM has only been tested with CCA-compatible configurations and therefore it's only supported in that case.
Thanks,
Marcos

Why would an OM change cause disruption?
Sounds like lazy programming from the development team.
All it has to do is parse two text files and ignore any lines not supported in OM
Likewise it only needs to send back back the modifications not the whole ephone/ephone-dn/mailbox configuration

It was configured using CCA 2.2.5 for 98% of it. We did make one change to the softkey layout on the phone but then changed it back and still unsucessful.
Our Demo UC540 built using 2.2.6 and Office Manager 1.1 is working. So there must be something with our config Office Manager doesn't like-just how do you tell?

You can email me the OM logs an I will take a look.
Thanks,
Marcos

I had a support call today with the identical error to the one you received:
07:Dec:2010 10:25:20 -UC Comm| &R Got CUE Init Error Config Event : handleInitCueUserMailboxDetailsPrompt: received timeout, rx buffer: "Owner: /sw/local/users/Arshadniaz Type: Personal Description: Announcement Only: No Busy state: idle Enabled: true Allow login without pin: no Mailbox Size (seconds): 1800 Message Size (seconds): 240 Play Tutorial: true Fax Enabled: true Space Used (seconds): 0 Total Message Count: 0 New Message Count: 0 Saved Message Count: 0 Future Message Count: 0 Deleted Mess Count: 0 Fax Message Count: 0 Expiration (days): 30 Created/Last Accessed: Nov 09 2010 20:03:01 CST Current Active Greeting: standard Greetings: Type Enabled Until Recording Type --More-- "age
I discovered that Office Manager was running the following command in the CUE module:
show voicemail detail mailbox Arshadniaz
I'm not sure exactly what in the output triggered the error. Once I deleted the mailbox, the error went away and Office Manager loaded completely, so you may want to try deleting the mailbox.
I do have to add that the customer I was working with had Office Manager 1.0, no 1.1
