Hello, anyone can tell me how to connect or integrate a SPA8800 Gateway to a UC540, I set it up as an ATA, but I fail to register with the UC540

Hello,
This feature should be available in CCA when the new software pack is released expected in May.

Thanks Alexander.
Do you mean the package to be installed at UC? I install the package UC540-8.2.0, is this is going to improve in May?

Hi,
Yes the package for the UC currently is 8.2 (CME 8.1, CUE 8.0.6, IOS 15.1(2)T4) in May the new will be 8.6 (CME 8.6, CUE 8.6, IOS 15.1(4)M4) and with this update you should be able with CCA to use UC500 with the SPA8800.
HTH,
Alex

You can do it via CLI as well, per this document:

I've done this quite a bit. It works well for both FXS and FXO.

I am in a similar situation. The voice mail system of one of my client has died. I am in the process of ordering a new SIP trunk to be used with a UC560. But meanwhile I need to make the UC work with atleast 12 inbound pots trunks. Can I use two SPA8800 so I can take 12 inbound pots lines into the UC.
Thanks.

I am fairly certain CCA (and Cisco) will not support that, but it can be done in CLI.
