Have some SPA525 and SPA502 configured with SCCP at an UC520 with German localization.
But unfortunately not all at the phone is in German. Only some softkeys appaears in german language, the rest still is english, also the whole menu and
some other softkeys.
I've upgraded the phones to Firmware 7.4.6 and copy the newest 7.4.6 XML Dictionary files into the flash of the UC. But it doesnt work.
How I get the phones to german?
Please dont provide me with suggestions using the CCA. This tool destroys my configured dial plan, dial-peers and so on. At least it doesnt allow two-digits extensions phones without users and so on. However, I look a manually solution.

Hi Victor,
I added the english dictionary file (enS_US_v615.xml) to flash and config and it works now. Why do I need the english dictionary file to make the german work?
kind regards,
Alfred

Good question
It is by design, english is the reference file for looking at XML identifiers.

Alberto

Hi Alberto,
Ok - just confusing, because the 79xx phones work without an english dictionary file.
The original answer is already marked as answered. I rated Victor's last answer, but mis-clicked on the first star instead of the fifth... sorry for that!
kind regards,
Alfred
