I was told that the caller id information cannot be passed thru to the CUE, so that when voice mail is delivered to the inbox it shows name and number. I don't understand why this would not work since it it passes the number just fine. user see unknown caller in there mail box with the number. can someone shed some light on this. thanks we are using a UC520, CME 7.1 and, CUE is version 7.0.3. Thanks in advanced for the info.

This is a feature that is currently in CUE 8.0 and was being tracked by this product enhancement request:
CSCta34723 Store calling party display name
When UC500 moves to CUE 8.0, you will be able to display the calling name in all the appropriate places (IMAP, VVE, etc.).

We do not have an ETA yet, but it will likely happen this year.

I just checked the download site, and I see version 8.0.1 released March 8th 2010. Is this the version you speak of?

It is, but we haven't tested it on UC500, so please do not try to upgrade.
