Hi,
does anyone of you have any experience with integrating a cellular phone, e.g. Nokia E51/52/71 or HTC Tytn II, on a UC540?
It´s quite anoying clicking through all of the available clients.
1. Which client is the appropriate for the phones?
2. Is it possible through the build in vpn server? (I tried it with a IP Communicator, which works fine)
Thanks for your answers.
Stefan

Cisco has not yet release the software pack which contains the ability to use the mobile client. There are other third party SIP clients available but are not supported by Cisco. Using those clients would only allow for basic functionality like placing and receiving calls.

Hi Stefan,
You can take a look on the Nokia CallConnect:
You need 1.1.3 for UC500 series. It works with E51, E71 from the phones you have listed.
It is using SCCP as signaling protocol.
Best regards,
Alex
