Hi All
Odd one here. When external callers call in through the SIP trunk to the AA they do not hear a ringing tone but go straight in to the AA welcome greating. Callers to the PSTN channel that is routed to the same AA do get a ringing tone. No other functionality is lost but it is a little odd to callers that do not hear a ringing tone!
Any suggestions?
Thanks
James.

James,
I would do a 'debug ccsip messages' ...also available within CCA Troubleshooting Drawer > Voice Troubleshooting > Voip (SIP).
I would look to see if UC500 sends a 180 Ringing or a 183 Session Progress out to the other side.
If we send ringing, then I would look to the SIP Trunk for an interworking problem at a peering point (external to us).
If we send a session progress, I would have to look further to see if that is intended design or not.

James,
Did you ever get anywhere with this? We are having a similiar issue.
Thanks.
