How can new phone firmware be installed on BE3K phones? I'd like to upgrade 6945's to 9.3(1) to implement new jitter buffer operation.
Thx, Jim

You can upgrade phone firmware through the Maintenance - Upgrade page on BE3K, just like you would upgrade BE3K software.
After uploading the phone firmware file, reboot will be required.
Thanks

Please confirm...
1) From the upgrade>upgrade image location page on the BE3K, select the 6945 file as the file to upload?
2) I'm going to use the cop.sgn file, right?
Since this is undocumented, is there anything else I should know?
The 8.6.3 to 8.6.4 upgrade required 5 hours. Is there an estimated time that this will require on site?
How can a phone be forced to reload the phone firmware? I see that even after the 8.6.4 upgrade some phones have different versions of firmware.
Thx, Jim

Hi Jim
1) You need to copy the firmware file to USB key or SFTP server. Then select the file from the location
2) Yes
Uploading the firmware should take about 10 minutes. Since reboot is required, there is additional 20-25 downtime because of it.
Once the server and phone is rebooted, it should get the new firmware. Each release has a software compatibility matrix. Please check that it is according to the table below
