Does the UC500 have the capability through a third party to accept Voice Recognition/self service....."for cust service, press or say 1" etc? Thank you.

I can't think of A reason why not. Especially if you just need basic auto attendant like you describe. These could integrate to the UC500 via FXS, T1 or probably SIP also. ASR functions using VXML (which is supported in CME) have NOT been tested with UC 500 and therefore are not supported.
