UC320 auto-attendant/operator questions

Hi, I'm new to the UC320...we have one up and running at a client site now. They're happy with it but need some help with inbound call direction....

Here's what they're asking me:

Incoming calls should go to auto-attendant

We want to press 0 for a live operator...

pressing 0 will forward to a primary receptionist, with a backup receptionist

If neither person answers to call should go to a group mailbox (we can add this as a button on the phones, right?)

Note that the primary receptionist has her own extension.

What's the best way to do this?

Thanks!

Hi Greg,

You may want to configure the following setups.

Please configure the inbound call routing to AA at Inbound Calls page.

At Internal Dialing paging, set the Auto Attendant Extension to any digit other than 0.

At AA page, configure the menu for digit 0 to transfer the call to the primary receptionist's additional extension.

At Additional Extension page, configure primary receptionist's additional extension call forward to secondary receptionist's additional extension if busy or no answer. And configure secondary receptionist's additional extension call forward to a group mail box if busy or no answer.

Best regards,

Wendy
