UNITY - How to create Greetings for Different Users

Cathy Adams

Level 1

We are trying to eliminate the user's ability to create their own greetings.  Looking for something like:

"Sorry (users name from the Display Name/robotic voice) is not available,  record your message at the tone.  When you are finished, hang up or press 0 if you need to speak with an operator."

So the issue here is that we do not have any users creating their own greetings but we have 3 greetings that we need created depending on who the user works for.

Ideally,  we would like to keep the robotic generated name that Unity provides now but within the greeting or prior to the greeting.
Can this be done and if so,  how?

Thanks

Cathy

In every user or call handler there is a greeting section in the administration page.  You can upload your own greeting directly using the media master tool that is on that page.  The greetings have to be a wav file and u-law 8000Hz 64kbps mono.  You can use a free tool like audacity to convert the files to the proper format.
