Enable Voicemail Trash

I am looking for assistance in enabling the Trash feature for Webex voicemail. Documentation says it is enabled by default, but it's missing for our organization. All of the other documentation is for users utilizing the feature and say to see your administrator if you don't have a trash button... How does an Administrator enable the feature? I am not finding it anywhere in Control Hub that I've looked.

Hi @svanatta,

I had a similar issue and this feature is only applicable for Calling in Webex (Unified CM). It is not applicable for Webex Calling MT.  Please refer to applicable products in this document:

To enable the Trash feature for Webex voicemail, the documentation is correct that it’s typically enabled by default. However, if it’s missing in your organization, it could be due to a configuration issue or a feature limitation in your setup. As an Administrator, follow these steps to ensure the feature is enabled:

  1. Log in to Control Hub at https://admin.webex.com.
  2. Navigate to Services > Calling > Service Settings.
  3. Look for the Voicemail Settings section and confirm that the Trash feature is enabled. If you don’t see it there, ensure that your calling service package supports this feature.
  4. If the option is unavailable or doesn’t appear, you may need to open a support case with Webex to verify whether this feature is provisioned for your organization.
