Mobile Application Management License Agreement

The Mobile Application Management License Agreement is an agreement made by and between Cisco and another organization or licensee looking to wrap the mobile application.
In order to receive this agreement, please contact your account manager.

Notes:

  • The MAM wrapper program's focus is to make IPA and APK files available to customers outside of app stores for MAM integration purposes. This program is provided free of charge (normal Jabber and Webex licensing costs do apply).
  • Cisco does not test any MAM wrappers or SDK integrations with Jabber or Webex, as such Cisco only supports the unwrapped (app store) version of Jabber, Webex Meetings, and Webex Teams. Any issues found with the modified versions of Jabber or Webex must get reproduced with the app store version prior to submitting a Cisco support case.
  • While others may test their integrations with Cisco applications, Cisco cannot make any support statement around those integrations.
  • Integrations may sandbox applications, meaning that some interaction with other apps (such as Webex cross-launch) may not perform correctly.
  • Cisco only supports the latest version of Cisco Jabber, Cisco Webex Meetings, and Cisco Webex Teams Mobile Apps. As a result, there’s an expectation that customers upgrade their user bases once Cisco releases new versions via iTunes and Google Play respectively (these versions will also be available via the MAM program).
  • Even if an initial MAM integration is successful, subsequent changes to the ecosystem including OS updates, new devices, new Jabber or Webex versions or new wrapper, SDK, or other software versions could break subsequent integrations. As such, it is essential that customers participate in our Early Adopter Program (EAP) also to ensure that updates to Jabber or Webex do not break use cases that the customer is targeting.

How to Request Access to the Cisco Mobile Application Management Community

  1. You must have a Cisco.com (CCO) ID prior to requesting access to the Cisco Mobile Application Management Community.
If you already have a Cisco.com ID: Go to Step 2
  • Create an account here: https://idreg.cloudapps.cisco.com/idreg/register.do. This will take about 5 minutes.
  • Important: After creating your account, you will receive a system generated activation email from Cisco. You must click the activation link in this email for the system to recognize your ID.
  • Wait 5 – 10 minutes for your new ID to propagate in the Cisco.com system.
  1. Visit the Cisco Customer Connection sign-up page: https://www.cisco.com/go/ccp.
Log in with your Cisco.com ID. You should be redirected back to the Cisco Customer Connection page. This step simply causes your Cisco.com ID to show up in our Administration console so that we may later grant you access to the Cisco Mobile Application Management community.

  1. Contact your site administrator in order to sign a two-way agreement.

Customers can obtain files from the community and wrap/integrate these files (for iOS they also need to sign with their Enterprise Developer Certification for distribution). They can also join discussion forums that are specific to MAM vendors.
