hey guys.
i'm unpacking undreads of new AP's and deploy them on my campus network.
As soon as I connect the first AP 1702 (lightweight) it send my port down into err-disable. Same configurations of old Access Points.
Wireless-SM#show run int Gi1/0/1
interface GigabitEthernet1/0/1
description wireless
switchport access vlan 5
switchport mode access
end
Wireless-SM#show run
(...)
spanning-tree mode rapid-pvst
spanning-tree portfast default
spanning-tree portfast bpduguard default
spanning-tree extend system-id
!
If I remove the portfast bdpuguard, the AP's connecto OK
Any thought why this is happening?

Hi
This is a bug, you should try 8.0.115.0 if you are on a different code on 8.0.x

Hi Rasika.
tks for the answer..
I've read the solved caveats in the release notes of 8.0.115.0 version.
But I've upgraded from 7.6.130.0 directly to 8.0.115.0. So I've got the last version and this still have the same issue and apperently the caveat isn't solved.
Cheers.

Did you check this after the AP updated itself to the new firmware? You need to have bpdu-guard disabled until the AP has updated its software. Once it did that and reboot you should be able to re-enable it. I did not test this myself.

It's solved after the new image upgrade on the AP..
Although the caveat isn't solved, as mentioned in the 8.0.115.0 release notes.
thank you all, one more time!
