CISCO MOBILITY - AIR-AP2802I - SSID NOT BROADCASTING - BLUE,RED and GREEN blinking lights

Hi Team,

I am deploying Cisco mobility using a cisco AIR-AP2802I-S-K9 as the master AP (running as controller ). Initially my AP is running at CAPWAP 8.3.143.0 image that is why i did not upgrade the image image.

The only upgrade i did is to the mobility express image which is AIR-AP2800-K9-ME-8-5-151-0.tar.

After the reboot i ensure that the image has been upgrade and the AP Image type and AP Configuration is at MOBILITY EXPRESS IMAGE and  MOBILITY EXPRESS CAPABLE.

After all the checking. Still the AP is not broadcasting the "CiscoAirProvision " SSID. The AP is also showing BLUE,RED and GREEN blinking lights.

Kindly see attached file for the initial reboot and the show ver

AP Running Image : 8.5.151.0
Primary Boot Image : 8.5.151.0
Backup Boot Image : 8.3.143.0
AP Image type : MOBILITY EXPRESS IMAGE
AP Configuration : MOBILITY EXPRESS CAPABLE

thanks

Do you supply enough power to the AP?
Try to reset it with the reset button besides the network port.

Initially i was using a 3560 switch then i tried to connect to a POE+ switch and even the use a power injector and
Yes i have reset the device multiple times and still same issue.

did you fix it? i have same issue

I have the same issue, after and before converting it to mobility express (ME) I cant see the SSID of cisco aironet 2800I, it is enabled and broadcast with BLUE,RED and GREEN blinking lights.

I have reset it multiple times.

This is a problem with ME when , just go through the wizard from the console

And I cant access to the Web interface, it pings to the gateway and to my laptop.

Did you try using a console cable and from the cli go through the startup wizard? This needs to happen, you will not be able to reach the WebUI until you perform the initial configuration through the console port.
