I still have not received a direct answer from the techs, but maybe someone on here could assist.
I have some mgig switches and the new cisco 3802i access points. How would I be able to setup a full 10g connection to each AP?
1) running 2 cables back to the switch and setting up an etherchannel
2) running a cat6/6a cable to the back to the switch
3)would I need a 10g optic to the wlc and switch
Any assistance would be appreciated.
thank you

10 Gbps optics to the core/distro would be nice to have, but think BIGGER. 10 Gbps will be, if there are density between APs and wireless clients are high (per switch), overwhelmed very easily.
Before implementing the 2800/3800, I strongly recommend you read the Release Notes.
