Hello everyone,

i would like to know if it's possible for 1142 and 2602i to join 3802i ME controller,
I’m able to join the WLC using 2702i
but the 2602i and 1142 is not joining even after i update the FW for both to the latest one from Cisco.
i assigned IP and GW using capwap ap ip address command but still getting the below error

the 3802 ME IP is 10.10.10.2 and there's no DHCP configured, the 2702i joined very smoothly without any problem

thanks.

M's answer is correct - short answer is NO, those old APs are not supported by the latest release, and haven't been for some time.
